SIGNALLING

signalling

All signalling types used in all global regions can be recreated within our environments including line-of-sight (LoS) tramway signals, traditional fixed block railway signalling and modern CBTC or Moving Block signalling types. The Instructor Software can be used to control these different signals to test understanding or challenge poor driving behaviour. A range of events can be recreated such as vehicles being held at junctions or closely following automated AI vehicles. All signalling and points control logic is accurately replicated to give a realistic experience for the user that includes various points types e.g. motorised, sprung, bistable.

Where driver training vehicles interact with road vehicles or pedestrians at junctions, the phases and timings of these signals are recorded and reproduced. Non-phased events, such as automated green lights for emergency vehicles, are included to test driver response.
